This exciting UK Credit Control vacancy is based in modern offices at my Client's HQ near Newbury.
Due to growth they are seeking a Credit Controller to join the Finance team on a permanent basis.
You will be working within a busy, friendly Credit Control Function and be responsible for UK based customers and the associated Sales Ledgers. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong track record in Credit Control and business to business collections with high volume, key accounts.
You will be required to build relationships both internally and externally to maximise cash flow and collections by engaging effectively with key stakeholders and debtors.

Responsibilities :
1. Credit Control and Credit Analysis on a UK based Sales-ledger of Accounts
2. Obtaining payment from Clients using effective collection techniques via telephone/email
3. Query resolution and Credit note processing resolving disputes efficiently
4. Sales Ledger account reconciliations and associated commentary + payment forecasting
5. Running order hold & release processes on overdue accounts and communicating with internal stakeholders
6. Providing support to the Finance Manager and Credit Control colleagues when required
The Candidate:
7. Proven experience as a Credit Controller in an end to end type role (order to cash)
8. Confident, versatile telephone manner
9. Good negotiator
10. Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with a diverse portfolio of debtors
11. Pro-active approach to collections and developing rapport with debtors
12. Team Player who is happy to work within a Team and add value during busy periods
13. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
14. Strong Excel skills - ledger production, statement production and ad-hoc reporting
