Our Process Development team are looking to add to their team.
An opportunity to join the Process Development team in the introduction of new products and processes to the Livingston site and to the business, scoping and implementing future developments, working with teams across sites. We are looking for a Scientist or Senior Scientist (dependant on experience and qualifications, with commensurate responsibilities) to join us.
Senior Scientist:
Would own, lead and deliver key activities within technology transfer and implementation programmes for new IMP products including development studies and GMP production, and subsequent process validation and commercialisation. supervising teams and activities as needed to complete delivery
They would work closely with other departments to deliver programmes of increased process robustness, facility utilisation, yield & success rate with strategic delivery, costing, resources and milestone delivery.
The role requires the support of regulatory submissions and audits by provision of technical data & reports, and ensuring Quality compliance and high standards throughout programme delivery
Scientist:
Would assist Senior/Principal Scientists in the design and delivery of work programmes outlined above
Requirements
Either role would involve working collaboratively across a wide range of departments locally and across sites, often within broad project teams.
The requirement for a high degree of flexibility in time and priority is essential, as is the ability to work between both development and GMP environments
Creativity, analytical thinking, problem solving, results driven, ability to prioritise are key competencies.
A strong technical understanding/experience of vaccine or biologics manufacturing processes and theory is required
