Solution Architect

£80,000 - £90,000 plus 10% bonus & benefits
Reporting to – Lead Solution Architect / Head of Architecture
We are currently hiring for a Solution Architect to join our growing Engineering teams here at Edenred PayTech.
Our Solution Architects are responsible for defining and delivering software and solution architectures that support the creation of our new microservices payment platform.
By ensuring the use of best practices and patterns, and defining standards and guidelines for our delivery teams, you will be assessing and recommending emerging practices and technology as part of the Architecture and Design group.
As a Solution Architect at Edenred, you will be somebody who drives and supports innovation and challenges the status quo. You will drive quality and best practice, and cultivate strong working relationships with wider functions.
What you will be doing:
1. Architectural designs encompassing the target solutions architecture and intermediate states
2. Application architecture delivered against requirements for security, scalability, performance, and availability
3. Drive quality through the adoption of standards and best practice
4. Cultivate close working relationships with engineering & wider technology group
5. Lead architecture & design reviews throughout the Development lifecycle. ·
6. Drive and support innovation, challenges the status quo
7. Support product management, defining and refining solutions architecture to support new product capabilities
8. Development teams upskilled to take on design decisions
What we want from you:
Technical
9. Significant commercial experience ofSolutions architecture with an emphasis on application systems and microservicesCreating architectural blueprints and designs, through collaboration with business owners and other architectsAWS infrastructure and servicesSupporting engineering teamsDesign practices and modellingDevOps culture and practicesOO analysis & designAgile practices
