Job Description: Location: Leeds, UK Work mode: Hybrid (at least 2 days per week in the office) Salary: £ 51,000 - £ 65,000, annual bonus, benefits The role is accountable for the recipe development and management within our European factories and systems. The job holder will be involved in many varied development projects, from innovation concept creation through to final implementation in our factory network. The role will also be accountable for complex projects aimed at improving the design and performance of our existing portfolio, focusing on quality, cost, and sustainability. What are we looking for? Bachelor or equivalent in Food Science/Chemical/Biology or related subject area Proven industry experience in R&D (product/pack/process/quality) within FMCG Experience of translating consumer/business insights into scalable product solutions Have worked with business and R&D technical systems to manage projects from concept to launch What will be your key responsibilities? Accountable for the development of recipes within innovation, continuous improvement, sustainability, and business continuity projects Accountable for the management of existing recipes, ensuring they meet all nutritional, food safety, and legal requirements Responsible for the deployment of global standards and systems across our European factory network, ensuring they are fit for purpose Support the coordination of activities within the team and provide technical support and mentoring for other team members Key representative for the European Region in respective global and regional communities What can you expect from Mars?
