Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 DOE

Our Electronic Warfare Operations Support Group (EWOS) is made up of 40+ electronic warfare specialists. From all manner of backgrounds, our engineers, scientists, and ex-military personnel combine their experience to help our customers achieve true operational potential and ultimately help keep their people and platforms safe.
Forming part of EWOS, our Countermeasure Development team provides technical advice and support to our customers relating to countermeasure development, engineering support, and delivery, as well as supporting internal initiatives relating to innovation and research, projects, training, and bid delivery. Reporting to our Technical Head, this team is predominantly based from our modern Lincoln offices on Teal Park. When project classifications allow, they tend to work three days in the office and two days from home, giving you the best of both worlds: flexibility and collaboration.
The invaluable experience you'll bring, to help us achieve more:
Core to this role will be your deep understanding of Physics/Mathematical principles at Degree-level, as well as your working knowledge of electro-optic (EO) infra-red (IR) or radio frequency (RF) sensors, within a Defence setting. You'll be familiar with working in textual and graphical programming environments, have experience in systems engineering, and the fundamental mathematical knowledge to analyse complex models and simulations. Ideally having used MATLAB Simulink to conduct analysis.
Essential experience:
1. A deep understanding of Physics/Mathematical principles at Degree-level
2. Working knowledge of electro-optic (EO) infra-red (IR) or radio frequency (RF) sensors within a Defence setting
3. Experienced in working with simulation and modelling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink
Desirable experience:
1. Research and development experience
2. Countermeasure Development Experience
3. Software Development in a language such as C/C++
4. Experience of managing, leading or mentoring
5. An understanding of electronic warfare

1. A UK National and eligible to work in the UK
2. Eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government Developed Vetting security clearance
