What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the project team and ensuring that all team members are aware of project deadlines and responsibilities that align with the project plan. This will involve creating Gantt charts, preparing reports, and maintaining project documents.
To support the Project Planner in the creation, alignment, and ongoing tracking of project plans and status updates with key stakeholders. Experience in using Primavera P6 is essential.
Ensure project documentation is up to date and accessible to the project team.
Support the Project Administrator in the collation, submission (to Network Rail), and processing of ERTMS periodic recharges, including liaison with sub-contractors/consultants.
Arrange staff release plans for key stakeholders within the business to support ERTMS delivery.
Document Control activities including the maintenance and update of the ERTMS SharePoint website, ensuring only the most up-to-date documents are used to support various workstreams.
Raise purchase requisitions and liaise with procurement to expedite orders through to the system, ensuring invoices are allocated accordingly to the relevant approver.
Support in the coordination of workshops and process developments with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment to the Business Change activities.
Support the project team in Business Readiness implementation including logging, controlling, and dissemination of the information.
Liaising with the DB Cargo legal team in support of general contract information to support the programme, including arrangement of NDA between DBC and suppliers.
What are we looking for?
Experience of working in a planning role within a project environment.
Understanding and experience of using systems such as P6 Primavera.
Excellent communication and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with stakeholders at all levels.
Solutions-focused with the ability to adapt and change.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Comfortable and confident to travel around the UK to different sites as and when needed.
Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths and English.
