Job Description
Reporting to the Service Director, the Service Manager will oversee day-to-day responsibility for a team of Plumbing and Heating Engineers. You will plan, organise, and direct the day-to-day workloads in the most efficient and effective way, contributing to the company's success through on-time, right-first-time, efficient installation.
With the support of the Board of Directors and the senior leadership team, you will develop and deploy a strategic Service management plan that will contribute to the company's success.
As Service Manager, you will be tasked with the development of your team through effective communication, coaching, and training. You will provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate best practice and improved working relationships.
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience of working hands-on in the HVAC industry
2. Experience of working with Managerial or Supervisory responsibility
3. Cultivated positive working relationships with customers
4. The ability to problem-solve, both independently and as a team leader
5. A self-starter attitude with a will to succeed by doing the right thing for the business
