About the role
Ottoman Ashburton is looking for a passionate and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead and manage our busy store which serves hundreds of our lovely clients per day. This is a full-time role and requires dedication and attention to detail to succeed.
Duties:
1. Taking full responsibility to manage and lead the business.
2. Recruiting and training staff to ensure we have adequate resources all the time.
3. Add/remove/update menu in consultation with the chefs/cooks.
4. Build strong relationships with customers by providing them with a high level of customer service, food quality and listening to their feedback/complaints.
5. Proposing budgets according to future plans and goals.
6. Promoting goods and services of the store.
7. Plan and organise functions as per guest requirements.
8. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
9. Getting feedback from customers and acting on it.
10. Making sure the staff is motivated at all times.
11. Liaising with other stakeholders as required.
12. Making sure inventory is under control and stock has been ordered.
13. You may need to serve customers as well.
14. Any other tasks as and when required.
Skills Required:
1. Must hold a relevant hospitality/business qualification or at least 3 years’ relevant experience.
2. Must be available on weekends, early morning, public holidays etc.
3. Well organized and passionate about the job.
4. Must have a clean criminal history.
5. Must pass pre-employment checks if required.
