Job Summary
To work efficiently within a multi-disciplinary team providing a service of basic and more complex investigations within the Trust and services offered by the Trust.
Main duties of the job
1. Perform a variety of diagnostic tests for the cardiac assessment unit following a daily workload schedule as instructed.
2. Provide written reports for all investigations.
3. Communicate effectively with other staff members.
4. Organise departmental diaries and day-to-day service provision.
5. Assist with writing and development of department protocols.
6. Support education, training and personal development of other team members.

Person Specification
Essential
* Cardiac physiologist degree or equivalent
* BSE accreditation or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years of echo experience
Desirable
* Previous experience of a broad range of cardiac diagnostic tests including ECG, ETT, holters and analysis, pacemakers and angiography.
* Previous experience of specialist echo including TOE, LVO, bubble, DSE.
