Job Summary
We are currently working for a privately owned property company that has a requirement for a Building Manager to operate and manage a safe and well-maintained building and reception for a block of privately rented residential flats.
Responsibilities include:
1. Leading a small, high-performing team
2. Delivering high standards of customer service and facilities management
3. Ensuring tenant requirements are met in line with company SOPs and Health & Safety standards
4. Managing operations, customer service & relationship management, facilities, health and safety, and the onsite team
5. Maintaining a hands-on approach, balancing leadership, operations, administration, compliance, and people management
6. Handling difficult situations professionally and following protocols
7. Possibly having previous experience in management, supervisory roles, asset or property management, or service roles
8. Working with diverse individuals and resolving issues efficiently
9. Leading by example, sometimes rolling up sleeves to get the job done
10. Developing building management expertise further
The role is based at a well-located building in the Crawley area with on-site parking if required.
