Are you a passionate, committed and dynamic Senior Practitioner or Senior Social Worker looking for the opportunity to step into a new and challenging role?
Do you have the attributes and skills to support young people who are vulnerable to exploitation, wider contextual harms and at risk of going missing?
We are looking for a diligent, detail orientated individual who has a keen interest in helping develop systems to offer the best support for exploited and missing children and young people. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents and a trauma informed, child centred approach to practice.
Our Exploitation and Missing Team (EmPower) is part of an integrated service which means we are closely aligned with Young Peoples Safeguarding and Youth Justice Teams. As a result of these close links, you will be working alongside social workers, youth justice officers, police, psychologists, education officers, substance misuse workers and health workers.
In Peterborough we strive to ensure that children are at the heart of everything we do and to provide practitioners with the tools and resources they need to do their best practice.
Now is a great time to join us and be part of this service. In return for working with us, you will have access to an amazing range of benefits including:
