You will play a crucial role in service development and improvement, ensuring the pathway aligns with national and local priorities, including the NHS Long Term Plan and i-THRIVE model. You will also ensure that care is evidence-based, outcomes-focused, and co-produced with young people and families.
We Offer:
* A key leadership role, shaping urgent care provision for children and young people.
* A collaborative, multi-agency environment, working alongside health, education, and social care partners.
* Supervision and support for those looking to develop their career in a senior leadership role.
Main duties of the job
* Provide operational leadership for the Urgent Care Pathway, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, responsive services.
* Oversee daily service operations, including capacity management, workforce planning, and service delivery.
* Lead a multi-disciplinary team, providing supervision, support, and professional development opportunities.
* Work in partnership with other CFHD pathways, acute hospital trusts, social care, and other agencies to ensure a joined-up approach to crisis care.
* Monitor performance and outcomes, using data to drive service improvements and ensure key targets are met.
* Develop and implement service improvement initiatives, aligning with NHS priorities and best practice guidelines.
* Manage financial and resource planning, ensuring the service operates within budget.
* Lead on risk and quality assurance, ensuring safeguarding and clinical governance policies are followed.
* Engage with young people, families, and carers, embedding co-production in service design and delivery.
