Daniel Owen is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a leading provider of social housing maintenance, refurbishment, and regeneration services across the UK. They work with local authorities, housing associations, and private sector clients to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions that improve communities and enhance lives.

The Role
We are seeking a proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join a growing team and support the implementation of their Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policies. In this role, you will ensure compliance with regulations, promote best practices, and drive a positive safety culture across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice and guidance on SHEQ matters to project teams and stakeholders.
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
* Support the development and implementation of SHEQ policies, procedures, and initiatives.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending corrective actions.
* Deliver SHEQ training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
* Work collaboratively with management to promote continuous improvement in SHEQ performance.
* Ensure alignment with ISO management systems and industry best practices.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
* A relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH).
* Experience in a SHEQ role within the property services, construction, or housing sectors.
* Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulations, and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the organisation.
* A proactive and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Driving license and own vehicle.
