We are currently recruiting for an Export Certification Administrator to provide support for the export certification process, product chain of custody/traceability system, and active participation in the administrative tasks supporting all sites with 2SFG t/a Amber foods operation.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our production sites are the core of our business, and not only do they keep our business running, but they feed the UK every day. As an Environmental Assistant your key responsibilities will be:
• Assist the H&S Manager in all matters of Environmental compliance on site and Act as champion for environmental compliance on site.
• Act as environmental deputy during periods when the H&S Manager is off site attending site meetings.
• To be a point of contact for the site team for all environmental matters.
• Update and collate site environmental management system data.
• Collate data and provide input to into all external environmental permit reporting requirements and reports.
• Assist in setting environmental targets and developing plans to meet these targets.
• Assist, develop and maintain systems to measure site environmental performance against KPI’s and targets.
• Provide periodic environmental progress reports internally to the site director, managers, and external interested parties
• Assist in environmental incident/ near miss investigation, to identify root cause.
• Assist departments in providing safe systems of work and risk assessments for site environmental operations.
• Assist in developing training to improve and enhance the environmental knowledge throughout the site.
• Assist and conduct site and external fugitive odour monitoring and reporting to SEPA.
• Participate in representing the business in external customer, supplier, regulator site inspections.
ABOUT YOU:

· Nebosh environmental or IEMA, or can demonstrate competency through work experience.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
· Knowledge of environmental permit conditions, compliance and reporting requirements.
· Willingness to continue own personal development
· Experience working in a fast paced unionised environment, with experience of high volume or seasonal reporting needs.
· Must demonstrate knowledge and experience of using and navigating SEPA website.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills, with an ability to problem solve
· Customer service oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills and able to build effective relationships
· Fluency in one or more languages desirable in addition to English
· Able to maintain confidentiality and present a professional approach at all times
· Self-driven, resilient, and able to work under pressure
· Able to create and deliver effective presentations, one on one or in groups
· Competent in MS Office skills
