A career in tax is more than just becoming a tax adviser; you’ll be part of Team Tax, diving into the intricate world of tax laws, both in the UK and internationally. You will apply these to create real-life solutions for our clients, helping them save money, mitigate tax risks, and navigate complex reporting requirements. Our business areas within Team Tax include VAT/Indirect Tax, Employer Solutions, Private Client Services, Corporate Tax, Innovation and Creative Sector Reliefs, Transfer Pricing, Capital Allowances, and Tax Investigations. You’ll make an impact by: Collaborating with people across the business and engaging directly with clients. Enhancing your skills, knowledge, and capabilities while upholding high standards and exceeding expectations. As you near the end of your apprenticeship, you'll gain a deeper understanding of your chosen area of tax, reflected in the complexity of your client portfolio and increased responsibilities, including mentoring junior team members. What We Are Looking For: At RSM, passion, personality, and originality are as important as exam results. A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or an equivalent qualification, and a predicted/achieved undergraduate degree. A team-oriented mindset, curiosity about business operations, and the interplay between taxation and financial goals. Determination to tackle challenges and readiness for hard work necessary to become a Tax Adviser. Excellent communication skills. Comfort with numbers and an interest in tax legislation. Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
