The role
See applied probabilities come to life as your work plays out on the casino floor. Casino gaming is more exciting than ever, with many games looking like action-packed video games. AsMath Analyst,youllget a hands-on preview of these exciting new games before they hit the market.Working closely with the Engineering team, the Math Analyst devotes their time to finding solutions and fixing mistakes to ensure that each game works properly.Your responsibilities willinclude:
Testing andmathanalysis
Writing programs and performing other analyses to calculate needed mathematical features of games.Conducting and interpreting statistical testing on game simulation results and on RNG data.Test Harness Method - Parsing, experience of Groovy coding or Java plus knowledge of Regex would be desirable.Reviewing anddocumenting
Reading andmodifyingprograms and analyses developed by others to meet testing needs.Reviewing, understanding, and documenting source code written in various languages.Carefully reviewing analysis work conducted by others for accuracy.Communicatingexternally andinternal
Working with external clients, communicating professionally and courteously ontopics of a technical natureExperience, Education, Skills, and Credentials:
Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related disciplineAssociate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or 2+ years of equivalent experience may be considered; Certification, formal training, or experience may also be evaluated and considered in lieu of educational requirementsMust have knowledge of Probability, Statistics, and CombinatoricsKnowledge of a modern, object-oriented programming language such as C++, includingappropriate useof object-oriented design isrequiredMust understand core programming concepts and techniquesKnowledge of Microsoft Excel isrequiredMust have the ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team and external contactsAbility to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines isrequiredMustdemonstratea high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctnessMust be able to pass a thorough background investigationWe offer excellent paid benefits that include
