As a Civil Engineer apprentice, you will work alongside and assist our multi-disciplinary design team in the delivery of a varied range of projects from our Thetford office. You must demonstrate a passion for Civil Engineering & Design with the ability to travel to site or office locations. With this role you can earn and learn as we support you.
What you’ll do at work
* Demonstrate a passion for Civil Engineering and Design
* Go to various locations throughout East Anglia
* Learn digital solutions and data management
* Learn about structures and materials as well as geology and soil mechanics
* Learn Structural design, geotechnical and structural engineering
Training to be provided
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
College or training organisation: ANGLIA RUSKIN UNIVERSITY HIGHER EDUCATION CORPORATION
Your training course: Civil engineer (degree) (level 6) Equal to degree
Your training plan: One day per week at University in Peterborough or Chelmsford
Onsite training with our qualified Civil Engineers
More training information: Core modules with an assessment covering all topics
Entry Requirements
A Level in: 2 subjects (grade Pass)
GCSE in: English (grade C/4 or above) and Maths (grade B/5)
