As Finance Systems & Data Manager you will be responsible for driving Finance best practice for our Finance systems, integrations, master data & access management. They will act as the interface between IT as ultimate system owners, and Finance as the customers and end users of the systems. Ensuring the processes, systems and data standards established during our multi-wave SAP S4 Hana implementation, are fully documented and sustained post go live to ensure adoption, reliability of service & exploitation of optimisation opportunities. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader. Job responsibilities of Finance Systems & Data Manager include: Initially the role will work alongside the Finance Excellence Programme and will focus on the design and documentation of: Finance data governance standards, system integration & access management. Formulatingand document governance principles Document finance data governance manual ensuring all data/field interdependencies are recorded. The SAP S4 user support process: Master Data request/create/change process including approvals forms & document retention. Change Requests Access Provisioning Other Key Accountabilities Custodian of Finance Master Data Ensuring a robust and controlled process for data management including associated tables & integrations. Maintaining the integrity of data structure in accordance with governance principles to ensure optimal system & process performance, minimising corrective activities. System Support The point of contact for Finance configuration or master data following first line triage. Working with relevant business process owners to coordinate resolutions for any user issues. Actioning trouble shooting and resolving requests allocated by triage first line in accordance with defined service levels. User Access Provisioning. The Finance System & Data Manager will be responsible for the assignment of user access in accordance with the Segregation of Duties policy. Close Routine Responsible for the management of period end routines including batch job scheduling, integrations, and ledger close. Support annual audit and reporting procedures and produce various regular and ad hoc data extractions / reports. Continuous Improvement Responsible for identifying the opportunities to enhance business performance, straight through processing and efficiency improvements. Monitor future releases and coordinate adoption, testing & internal training requirements. Responsible for managing all upgrade test procedures and coordination of relevant resource. Qualifications To apply for the role of Finance Systems & Data Manager you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications: SAP S4 Hana experience ideally, if not SAP as a minimum. Strong self-starter, able to work independently and as part of an integrated team. Clear organization skills and ability to articulate complex issues concisely.
