Group IT Director

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Group IT Director to set the technological direction for our division. This senior leadership role involves identifying, shaping, and implementing technological solutions that align with our overarching business strategy and priorities. The successful candidate will act as the interface between our businesses and the Business Technology Services (BTS), ensuring that business requirements are met with effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnerships: Forge strong partnerships with businesses, championing their technology projects and digital solutions.
2. IT Roadmaps: Develop and align IT roadmaps with the overall business strategy, driving synergies across the division.
3. Interface with BTS: Serve as the strategic interface between businesses and BTS, delivering bespoke technological solutions.
4. Collaboration: Drive a culture of collaboration, leveraging technology to add value and enhance efficiencies.
5. Change Initiatives: Provide strategic leadership in business-driven change initiatives, including the D365 Group implementation.
6. Security Compliance: Lead the division through security compliance, ensuring good practices and risk mitigation.
7. Emerging Technologies: Monitor and translate emerging technology trends into initiatives that support business agendas.
8. Mentorship: Mentor and support IT professionals, ensuring the delivery of exceptional IT services.
9. Budget Management: Manage IT budgets strategically, ensuring cost-effective solutions and strong vendor relationships.
10. High-Performing Team: Lead a high-performing technology function, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Experience
1. Experience in leading business transformation and change management, particularly in large ERP (D365 F&O) projects / systems implementation.
2. Previous experience working in Manufacturing or production and have a deep understanding of the processes.
3. Comprehensive understanding of vendor contracts and service level agreements.
4. Expertise in project management with proven track record of excellent planning and organizing skills to effectively manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
5. Proven stakeholder management abilities, with experience in engaging with senior level executives.
6. Strong commercial acumen, excellent planning and organizational skills, and proven stakeholder management abilities.
