Vice Chancellors Office £31,916 - £38,592 per annum Permanent 37 hours per week We are looking for a pro-active and well-organised Contracts Officer to join the University of Huddersfields busy Legal Team. The Legal Team is an award-winning service which helps the University to meet its goal of being an inspiring, innovative University of international renown. You will fulfil a vital role in working with the legally qualified staff in the Legal Office to help colleagues across the University ensure that appropriate contracts are entered into. The role will focus mainly on negotiating contracts with external stakeholders and working with internal colleagues to ensure that the contracts you manage are right for their projects. With a degree in Law or equivalent in a relevant subject, or significant experience of working in contract negotiation and management, you will have a flair for good communication and enjoy playing a role in bringing projects to completion. You will also have excellent time-management skills. This role is likely to suit paralegals or law graduates looking to develop their careers in commercial contracts.
