Role: Welfare Assistant
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: Dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Support student welfare needs, providing first aid and responding to student illnesses or accidents as they arise
Offer pastoral care and emotional support to students, promoting positive well-being
Maintain accurate records of incidents and interventions, ensuring compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures
Liaise with parents, carers, and staff to communicate welfare concerns and updatesRequirements:
First Aid training
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Previous experience in a welfare, healthcare, or support role is beneficial
Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to supporting student well-being
