Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance & Servicing: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and testing of fire alarm systems, Automatic Opening Vents (AOVs), and emergency lighting in local authority and social housing properties.
2. Fault Finding & Repairs: Diagnose and rectify faults across fire alarms, AOVs, and emergency lights ensuring systems are operational and compliant with industry standards.
3. Client Liaison: Engage with local authorities, social housing clients, and tenants to ensure clear communication and provide professional service.
4. Health & Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Health & Safety guidelines, promoting safe working practices at all times.
5. Reactive & Planned Work: Undertake both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer, particularly within social housing and local authority sectors.
2. Strong knowledge and experience working with fire alarm systems, AOVs, and emergency lighting.
3. Relevant industry qualifications, including FIA certification, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
4. Full UK driving license.
