The role As a Delivery Lead you will own and drive effective planning, coordination, and oversight of delivery activity within the BG Transformation and Change Portfolio, employing lean-agile principles and best practice to relentlessly focus on business value, optimising the flow of work, and quality outcomes. You’ll help us make health happen by Effective planning and delivery management of change and transformation activity as it relates to a Portfolio Value Stream, Project, Program or a combination thereof Owning and communicating the delivery plan as it relates to the allocated Value Stream, Program or Projects, providing accurate, timely and insightful data that underpins portfolio operations, governance and reporting. Leading and coordinating cross-functional planning, facilitating effective cross team dependency management, and planning with a focus on ensuring the required capacity and capabilities are understood, provisioned, and mapped to cycles of portfolio activity. Eliminating and where necessary managing and mitigating delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, maintaining clear management and control of delivery objectives with a specific focus on the flow of work, maximising business value, and quality outputs. Offering developmental support and effective performance management across the delivery function, ensuring an effective, agile delivery environment aligned to BG best practice and lean-agile principles. Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role Expertise and experience in coordinating teams, resources, and delivery planning Experience of multiple business and IT delivery methodologies (e.g., MSP, Prince2, Lean, Agile, SDLC) Familiarity with the use of Portfolio Management software and tooling Excellent people management skills and experience of Line Management in a matrix operating environment Be an advocate of change, with experience of implementing Business and IT change in various delivery environments.
