Related Fluid Power is a market leader in the design, development, manufacture, and supply of hydraulic controls and mini power packs to globally recognised OEMs. As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our busy team at our Cuparmuir facility in Cupar, Fife.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the purchasing function and ensuring materials and stock are available to meet production and customer needs. This is a fast-paced environment where strong administration skills and attention to detail will help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities:

Raise purchase orders for bought-out goods and non-production items
*
Maintain stock control, carry out stock audits, and update records
*
Track and expedite purchase orders, including customs documentation
*
Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any quality issues
*
Provide regular data and reports using MRP systems and Excel
*
Maintain accurate material data and support material planning activities
*
Assist in monitoring supplier performance
*
Communicate closely with design, manufacturing, and production teams
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a purchasing or materials administration role
*
Confident user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
*
Familiarity with MRP or similar systems (advantageous)
*
Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
*
Good communication and interpersonal skills
*
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
*
A positive, problem-solving attitude with a team-focused approach
