Receptionist
Location: London – Holborn
Type: Full Time
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time corporate receptionist to work in a wonderful corporate office building. Ideally located in the City, the building is a short walk from Holborn tube station.
You will 'own' the ground floor reception, taking pride in managing every visitor's journey, ensuring an exemplary level of customer service is delivered, with the ultimate aim of leaving a lasting impression.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm
Salary: £36,010 pa
Key Responsibilities
Managing reception
1. Meet and greet all visitors to the building to ensure a warm and personal welcome
2. Manage deliveries, including couriers and post
3. Handle inbound phone calls and perform general administrative tasks
4. Stock check and reorder front of house supplies, as required
5. Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders
The Building
1. Support the offsite Property Management Company by ensuring any building issues are efficiently reported and managed to resolution, including managing maintenance contractors visiting the building and controlling keys, providing updates on progress to the facilities manager
2. Develop strong working relationships with the local letting agents and support them by ensuring any vacant office space is kept pristine in preparation for viewings
3. Manage the meeting room and book it out for tenants as required, ensuring it is immaculately maintained and ready for use
4. Liaise with property and facilities managers to support contractor duties and resolve issues
Tenant Experience
1. You will be interested in local news and what's happening in the area and keeping tenants informed
2. Research and deliver relevant initiatives, freebies and services which are of interest to those who work in the building, as and when required
3. Introduce a monthly newsletter promoting initiatives and concierge services, helping to create a community vibe.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. You have proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge
2. Vibrant personality and a can-do attitude to own and front this high-end reception area
3. Proficient at delivering a high-end 'meet and greet' service, working efficiently and professionally at all times
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Mac/PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and related software packages.
