We have a fantastic opportunity to join the audio industry! Our client is looking to appoint a Casting Coordinator to join their dynamic studio and publishing team based in the East Midlands, offering a flexible hybrid working.
As the Casting Coordinator, you'll be the maestro behind the scenes, orchestrating the selection of top-tier voice talent. Your role will be to bring manuscripts to life, spanning across a variety of popular genres. You'll collaborate closely with content and editorial teams to ensure that every project hits the perfect note for our clients' creative and commercial needs.
From meticulously evaluating scripts to hand picking actors, you'll oversee the entire recording process, ensuring everything stays on track, on time, and within budget. Plus, you'll manage the essential administrative tasks that keep the production wheels turning smoothly.
Key Duties Include:
1. Reviewing manuscripts to determine the specific recording needs.
2. Casting research to recommend suitable actors, and establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with actors, agents, and publishers.
3. Tracking project progress, and managing narration costs to adhere to budget guidelines.
Additional responsibilities include providing actors with content-related support, managing contracts and agreements, coordinating with editorial teams and external stakeholders, maintaining a database of voice talent, sourcing manuscripts in a timely manner. Regular performance reporting and proactive problem-solving to meet deadlines are also essential aspects of the role.
