Job summary Practice Nurses within our practice are a valuable and important part of our clinical team. Due to retirement, we are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, experienced Practice Nurse for 24hours per week. They will have experience in Primary Care, Respiratory Chronic Disease Management and hold or working towards a non-Medical Prescribing Certificate. It is essential that you have a flexible approach to your working hours to fit demand within the practice. The deadline may end sooner that advertised, it is therefore important that you apply ASAP. Main duties of the job You will be a self motivated, adaptable team player. Providing general Practice Nurse duties, to include provision of child and adult immunisation and vaccination programme. Both general wound dressings and compression bandaging. Minor ailments, general health screenings and chronic disease management. Offer pathological collections including swabs, smears and blood samples etc. You will support the management team, with delivery of Health & Safety requirements, Infection Prevention & Control Policies, Clinical Policy & Procedures.
