Experienced Optical Assistant

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products, and services alongside your incredible customer service skills to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.
Our store
Based in Lancaster, our store is looking for someone with previous optical experience that can dispense up to Multi focal.

1. Full time 37.5 hours - Will include 1 weekend day
2. Part time to be considered - 3 days with an alternate weekend day
3. Starting salary £12 per hour - £23,481 per annum

What we’re looking for?
If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant. These include:
1. Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant
2. Passion for providing excellent customer service and making customers’ lives easier
3. Great teamwork
4. A good initiative
5. Confidence in using IT systems
6. Excellent communication and listening skills
7. Prepared to step out of your comfort zone and try something new
8. Able to receive feedback and be open to development, knowing we’ll be there to support and guide you throughout your process (with your openness and our guidance, your opportunities will be endless).
