Founded in 1685, our client’s company is one of the world’s oldest family run businesses and holder of a Royal Warrant. They design and make jewellery, embroidery, medals, ribbon & insignia, and a broad range of other identity-based products for state institutions and corporate clients around the world.
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join them as a Warper. This is a unique opportunity to learn a specialised skill with full in-house training provided.
Are you the right person for the job?
* Strong attention to detail, particularly in identifying colour variations
* Ability to work methodically and independently
* Numeracy skills to assist with thread and pattern coordination (advantageous)
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
What will your role look like?
* Work collaboratively as part of a small team while being able to take initiative when needed
* Coordinate threads together to create intricate patterned ribbons
* Operate and monitor moving machinery safely and effectively
* Transfer threads between machines with precision
* Follow detailed specifications to ensure product quality
* Identify and address colouration differences in threads
