As an integrated mental health, learning disability and community Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:

A great opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, suitably qualified, confident and forward-thinking individual to maintain the management and administration of our Rehabilitation Centre in Wesham.
You must be able to provide clinical leadership and motivation to develop the existing staff whilst maintaining high professional standards, demonstrating commitment to staff development and patient care. Ability to demonstrate sound knowledge of the wide ranging specialties which the ward provides is essential.
Main duties of the job
You will promote and maintain extremely high standards of care whilst supporting and assisting the Modern Matron to implement local and national strategy and initiatives.
You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, have strong leadership and staff development skills as well as a proven track record in change management. A strong commitment to your ongoing professional education and development is essential.
The successful post holder will be expected to work shifts covering 24 hours, seven days a week, however the main working hours will be Monday to Friday during office hours.

Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse
* Post reg. learning and development relevant to the role
* On-going registration with the NMC.
* Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
Knowledge
* Understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures
* Knowledge and practice of Mental Health Act 1983
* Knowledge and practice of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
* Demonstrate understanding of how research has influenced practice
Experience
* Supervision and management of staff
* Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Experience of assessing, planning, implementing and reviewing care needs
