We are seeking a System Administrator with specialised expertise in Cross Domain security and related products. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and should have working knowledge in maintaining and monitoring large virtual environments along with an understanding of IT security and infrastructure. The role supports one of our secure accounts and you should ideally hold an active SC clearance or above. The position will ultimately require the post holder to hold Developed Vetting (DV) so the applicant must be in position to meet the criteria for consideration for DV. The role will also require 5 days a week on-site working in Farnborough. What you will be doing: Define and automate data flows for IMPEX process. Configure Assured Control devices Implement security best practices and compliance requirements for infrastructure computing Scripting knowledge. Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures. What you will bring: Scripting knowledge Experience creating low level IT infrastructure designs In depth experience in Linux systems administration. It would be great if you had: Knowledge of assured controls/data diodes Security Best Practices / Secure by Design Experience with object and file storage deployments, backup/restore and high availability configuration.
