Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Systemic Psychotherapist to join the Specialist Eating Disorder Service (adult team). We are a dynamic and values driven multidisciplinary team, focused on delivering high quality effective services for individuals with Eating Disorders.The successful candidate will work across the Tiers providing specialist assessment, advice/consultation and evidence based therapeutic interventions for clients with Eating Disorders across the Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) geographical area.As a senior clinician, you will work alongside the Clinical Lead providing clinical supervision and operational management and will be instrumental in driving forwards innovation and service development in line with Welsh Government and Health Board priorities. Main duties of the job Clinical practice - As a senior Systemic family therapist, to provide a qualified specialist systemic therapy service to clients, their families and groups across this service. This includes specialist assessment, formulation and implementation of plans for psychotherapy, and management of a client's severe enduring and complex mental health problems and risks. To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options and plans. The senior Systemic family therapist will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of specialist Eating Disorders services across HDUHB. Consultation - To regularly provide advice, consultation and training on clients' psychological care to colleagues within the wider service. Operational management - Responsible for routine caseload management. Clinical supervision, CPD and effective PADR to appropriate colleagues. Service improvement - To assist with the development, evaluation and monitoring of the services operational polices and services. Implement agreed service developments and improvements within the service area. To undertake project management, including audit and service evaluation with colleagues within the service to help develop service provision and high-quality care.
