What are the core responsibilities of this role?
1. Support with maintaining the purchase ledger ensuring that accurate and up to date information is available at all times.
2. Provide support to internal staff and external customers answering financial queries in a timely manner.
3. Support with processing monthly JGW+ support cost declaration.
4. Processing and reconciliation of JGW+ employer wage subsidy payments
5. Support with monthly bank reconciliations (Current, Interest, Credit Card, and Petty Cash)
6. Processing staff mileage and expenses claims
7. Support with credit chasing for commercial training.
8. To support the finance team with carrying out regular departmental audits
9. Support with processing of weekly learner payments across all contracts as required.
10. To support the finance team with the day-to-day accounting functions
11. To support the Finance Manager and colleagues, as required in all aspects of the finance departments duties.
What skills and experience are we looking for in potential applicants?
Essential
12. GCSE Mathematics or equivalent
Desirable
13. AAT part of full qualified
14. Previous administrative experience
15. Previous experience in a financial role
16. Full driving license with use of own vehicle
