Payroll and HR Assistant
The HR and Payroll Administrator supports employees on day-to-day HR and payroll matters. They leverage people management tools and resources to align with business goals and its associated HR strategic priorities. The candidate will work closely with the HR teams across all locations.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage HR administration tasks for EU employees with particular responsibility for UK. This includes maintaining and updating personnel data, contract administration, keeping reports, etc.
2. Assist employee life cycle management including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
3. Responsible for ensuring monthly mutations through workday are processed accordingly through payroll
4. Responsible for monthly payroll preparation, submission to external payroll provider and checking to ensure compliance and accuracy
5. First point of contact for employee payroll queries
6. Acting as a liaison with the Finance team regarding payroll and audit queries
7. Assisting with Employee Relations issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures
8. Ensuring HR programs and services are in compliance with established policies and procedures and local laws and regulations
9. Preparing and maintaining reports and business plans related to specific HR projects
10. Provide administrative support within the extended HR and Leadership team
11. Workday subject matter expert
12. Developing methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects
13. Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance
14. Working with HR systems and IT programs ie. payroll, excel, Workday, Activ Absence, etc.
15. Supporting with facility management operations in EU offices
Qualifications:
16. Good problem solving and communication skills including effective listening, writing and presentation
17. Excellent administrative and organizational skills
18. Proficient in Excel and Power Point
19. HR and/or payroll qualification or relevant experience
20. Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
21. Excellent verbal, written and presentation/communication proficiency
22. Relevant knowledge of UK labor laws and regulations
23. Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and experience with confidential data processing and file management
