Supply Desk are looking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated Design and Technology teacher to work 5 day per week in a school located in the Leighton Buzzard area. If you are passionate about the power of delivering creative and innovative lessons to students and making a difference in shaping their young mind. The Role:
Develop and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons to students, fostering their creativity and critical thinking skills.
Teach various aspects of Design and Technology, including graphic design, product design, electronics, textiles, and materials technology.
Incorporate hands-on activities, projects, and problem-solving tasks to enhance students' practical skills and understanding of design principles.
Guide students in effectively utilising design software, tools, and equipment, ensuring their safety and proper use.
The Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Design and Technology Education or a related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification is desirable
Knowledge or experience teaching engineering is desirable
However, any teachers with proven experience in teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level are welcome to apply
