Help us make a difference as a Mobile Plant Operator based in Cornwall. This role is Monday to Friday - 45 hours per week. You may be required to cover holiday and sickness. A quick look at the role. You will be responsible for operating Mobile Plant and Fixed Plant within the Ford processing and bulking facility. Be trained on all mobile plant including Clamp Truck, Shovel Loader, Grab Loader and Telehandler in all aspects of production processes. Operate Baling press as required. Conduct housekeeping duties and work within company H&S standards and procedures. Your core responsibilities. Safely operate mobile plant equipment such as loaders, telehandlers, excavators, and forklifts. Perform daily checks and routine maintenance of machinery to ensure operational efficiency. Load and unload materials, waste, or recyclables using plant equipment, ensuring all materials are handled efficiently and within designated areas. Assist in maintaining site cleanliness and organization, supporting operational activities to ensure compliance with site safety standards. Follow site-specific health and safety regulations, conducting operations in compliance with environmental and safety protocols. Complete daily logs and records for equipment usage and maintenance, and report any issues, defects, or safety concerns promptly. Requirements Our essential requirements.
