We're looking for an Electrical Package Engineer to join our Natural Resources team, working on projects for Thames Water. In this role you will support projects and help deliver the requirements of the individual project to both above and below ground assets. Your initial focus will be Hogsmil, Surrey.

Responsibilities
We're looking for a Electrical Engineer to join our NRNN business unit Water business unit. Reporting to the Electrical Lead, you will work alongside the project delivery team to ensure the design, procurement, financial control, and site activities are achieved. Overseeing projects from inception to completion using in-house resources and construction personnel, this position requires experience in delivering water MEICA projects such as pumping stations, Aeration Plant, Digestion Process, Biogas Production along with associated civil structures.
Your day to day will include:
* Supply, Design and Delivery (including Health, Safety, Environment and Welfare). You'll establish client requirements and deliver the operation of engineering design solutions, with specific experience in electrical engineering design on capital water projects.
* Providing support to contractors within the electrical discipline as well as ensuring company standards in health & safety, environmental and quality are being met by the supply chain.
* Quality Assurance, Handover and Commissioning ensuring works are delivered in accordance with the specification
* Manage DALUX (Quality Handover Portal) to ensure documents mirror what has been delivered on site and are line with the Contract Requirements.
* Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded and support with work relating to financial forecasts and reviews with Commercial Team.
What are we looking for?
This Electrical Engineer is great for you if you have:
* Minimum industry applicable electrical HNC or B.Eng
* Good knowledge of motor control centres including variable speed 690V and 420V, switchgear design and electrical distribution power engineering and switchgear from 11kV and below.
* A good understanding of electrical design in ATEX hazardous areas and control and instrumentation cable installation.
* The ability to read electrical designs and ensure installations meet approved designs and identify when they don't.
