Deputy Manager

Salary: £29,120 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join a dynamic care service in the Duston, Northampton area. In this key leadership position, you will play a vital role in overseeing the operational management of the care service, supporting a team of dedicated care professionals, and ensuring that the individuals we support receive the highest standard of care. PLEASE NOTE: This role requires prior experience in a Residential children's home setting along with a Full UK Manual Driver's License.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the day-to-day management of care services, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained.
2. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of care staff, ensuring they deliver compassionate, person-centred care to clients.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
4. Conduct regular team meetings, supervisions, and appraisals, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
5. Monitor and review client care plans to ensure their needs are met and their personal goals are supported.
6. Build strong relationships with clients, families, and external professionals, promoting collaborative care.
7. Manage documentation, including care records, risk assessments, and health and safety compliance.
8. Be available to provide on-call support as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a care setting.
2. Strong understanding of regulatory standards and best practices within domiciliary care.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. A person-centred approach to care and a passion for improving the lives of those we support.
5. NVQ Level 3 in Residential childcare is essential; Level 5 is desirable.
6. A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach to challenges.
