As a Therapy Assistant Practitioner, you will:
• Undertake assessments and treatments for non-complex orthopaedic patients, carrying your own caseload under supervision.
• Devise and implement treatment programmes, enabling patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support timely patient discharge.
• Conduct home visits to assess discharge needs and provide necessary equipment.
• Mentor and train Band 2 and 3 therapy assistants and support therapy students.
• Participate in the provision of 7-day therapy services as required.
This role will involve working across bothPeterborough City HospitalandHinchingbrooke Hospital, providing inpatient therapy services for elective and trauma orthopaedic patients.
