Are you an Aircraft Mechanic with a passion for working on classic light aircraft? Are you looking to work for a stable company repairing and restoring their fleet of fantastic historic aircraft, helping to keep them in the air?
On offer is the chance to work for this well-established company that operates a small fleet of classic light aircraft that are part of history. Due to a member of the team retiring, this unique opportunity has become available.
In this varied and exciting role, you will bring your mechanical experience and become a part of a small close-knit team of engineers, all with a passion for keeping these extraordinary aircraft flying. You will split your time about 50/50 between planned and reactive maintenance on these wonderful machines, fabricating parts as and when needed.
This amazing, one-off opportunity would suit an Aircraft Engineer/Mechanic looking to work with a company that prides itself on a great work atmosphere and offers a very competitive package. Someone who has a passion for classic aircraft and a love of mechanical engineering.
Responsibilities:
1. Engineer/Mechanic repairing and restoring classic light aircraft
2. Time split 50/50 between planned and reactive maintenance
3. Fabricate spare parts
4. All tools provided on site
Requirements:
1. Experience working on light aircraft or similar
2. A passion for working as a Mechanic
3. Experience fabricating mechanical parts
You need to be a British Citizen or have Indefinite Leave to Remain to be considered for this position.
