* We are looking for a proactive, organized, and passionate IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ICT hardware, software, and network maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with familiarity with software management, including Office 365 and databases. Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection regulations in an educational setting is important, as well as strong communication skills to effectively guide non-technical users. Flexibility to adapt to occasional out-of-hours work is also required.
Responsibilities:
* As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT hardware, software, and networks. You will resolve technical issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate specialists when necessary. Ensuring that ICT areas are prepared for daily use and well-maintained will be part of your duties. You will provide technical support to users to help them maximize ICT resources and manage software licensing while maintaining accurate records of IT hardware. Additionally, you will configure and support systems such as Office 365, CCTV, and access control, assist with maintaining systems security—including safeguarding and GDPR compliance— and offer IT support during events and inset days, occasionally outside standard hours.
