The role of Service Support Manager (Job Share) is to support the management team with daily tasks. This includes validating waiting times for patients, theatres, clinics, rota commitments, etc., ensuring where possible we are meeting the demands of the service. The role also includes line management of the Rota Coordinator & cross-covering the Reception team as required.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients stay healthy when they need it most.
Job responsibilities
The Service Support Manager will need to have good keyboard skills, an eye for detail, with exceptional IT skills, plus an understanding and appreciation of confidentiality and data protection. Ideally, they will also have experience of working in a busy environment with many interruptions and be able to balance many priorities.
Good communication skills are essential for this role and also the ability to cope well under pressure. You will need to be confident working both in a team and independently.
