ABC Teachers are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience to work at a local primary school based in Tamworth starting as soon as possible.
The role:
The successful candidate will be working on a one to one basis with a SEN student, offering their full support to the child and otehr staff members. This will be based at a school in the central Tamworth area working Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30. The role is to begin from as soon as possible until the end of the Summer Term with the potential to be extended.
Requirements:
A strong passion for learning and showing creativity.
Patience, Resilience and Reliability
Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
Strong interpersonal skills to cater to the specific needs of the pupil.
Be able to provide two professional references from within the last two years.
Hold a DBS registered on the update service or must be willing to obtain one.
Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within education or a similar environment.

The role will be based within the SEND Provision at a one-form entry school based in the central tamworth area. The school has a recent Ofsted rating as 'Good'.
