Job Description
Fairmont St Andrews is looking for an experienced F&B Operations Manager to assist the Director of F&B with managing the smooth operation of all outlets, while ensuring that all areas maintain Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Standards.
A little more about what you will be doing:
1. Take responsibility for the checking of schedules, incentives for Food and Beverage Sales, and training.
2. Ensure that the standards of service are adhered to and exceeded on each shift.
3. Attend to all guest requests, being constantly aware of anticipating guests' needs.
4. Keep records of purchase orders and expenses.
5. Manage staff recruitment alongside the Talent & Culture department.
6. Attend to complaints concerning food and beverage services.
7. Reorder stock as and when required.
8. Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions.
9. Audit stock.
10. Adhere to and be trained in liquor laws and regulations.
11. Assess and review customer satisfaction and preferences.
12. Oversee any problems that arise.
13. Observe workplace hygiene, occupational health and safety, and security procedures.
14. Keep payroll in line with revenues.
15. Prepare P & L for Food & Beverage areas.
16. Prepare monthly forecasting and reporting to accounting on F&B areas.
Qualifications
* Similar experience in a five-star hotel is preferred.
* Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
