Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are recruiting for our client, a successful growing organisation based in the Gyle area of Edinburgh. They have an excellent opportunity for a HR Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. This role will be fully site-based Monday to Friday.
Based within a small supportive team environment, you will be responsible for day-to-day operational HR activities supporting the full HR remit within a varied generalist role.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage recruitment processes and facilitate recruitment events
2. Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and leavers
3. Work closely with line managers, stakeholders, and employees to provide exceptional internal service levels
4. Support with company rewards and benefits which includes annual salary reviews, pension, holiday entitlement, etc.
5. Support with employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, attendance, and performance management
6. Implement policies and procedures, ensuring these are communicated and adhered to across the site
7. Provide data and reports
8. Support Occupational Health
9. Maintain HR database, employee records, and files
10. Point of contact within the HR team for HR and general business inquiries
Experience required:
1. Previous experience of working within a HR Administration, Assistant, or generalist role
2. Relevant degree, CIPD qualified or equivalent experience will be considered
3. Exceptional communication skills at all levels
4. Confident IT skills including MS Office and ideally HR databases
5. Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
