Sales Event Manager - Immerse LDN £36,500 per annum Introducing London’s new entertainment district. Nestled in a brand-new, casual, contemporary space, the Waterfront Street Kitchen and Bar offers a fresh and modern street food dining experience, designed to make the most of our unique waterfront location within the Royal Docks. Overall Purpose of the Role: As the Sales Events Manager of catering at Immerse LDN you will focus on driving and maximizing revenue through generating leads, managing client relationships and ensuring effective and efficient enquiry handling to book, plan and ensure successful execution of reservations and events for all catering operations across Immerse LDN. Key Responsibilities: Reservations & Events Establish and maintain complete knowledge of standard operating procedures in regard to all types of reservations and group bookings across all Immerse LDN catering operations Follow and ensure a trail of total accountability in terms of bookings, from enquiry to execution, including recording of deposits, food and beverage pre-orders and feedback Deliver excellent customer service at all times. Liaise with the relevant culinary and management teams to ensure events are sufficiently staffed, pre-ordered menus and drinks packages are accurate and prepared with sufficient notice Maintain company standards of food quality, hygiene, and health and safety Send follow up emails to all party bookers and share feedback with the team Conduct weekly reservations and events briefing at a suitable time agreed with the General Manager’s and Head Chef Attend and participate in venue management meetings as required Ensure you are present for any larger or high-profile events You will ensure Run Sheets are produced for all larger and unique events and contain all relevant information required for the operational team to run the event Sales Account Management Create an Immerse LDN specific quarterly sales plan, identifying areas of opportunities via a proposal to increase sales Research opportunities for new clients by carrying out a quarterly local business and residential area analysis Research your competitors by carrying out a quarterly competitor analysis identifying trends in the market and local areas Arrange regular client entertaining meetings to develop and maintain relationships with potential and regular bookers Customer Service Ensure exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints promptly. Implement and maintain service standards, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests. Develop and maintain positive relationships with regular customers. Marketing You will work with the WSKB and Immerse LDN Marketing Teams to promote business and proactively market events and offers on all social media accounts Manage the Waterfront Street Kitchen and Bar’s presence on external websites. For current listings, ensuring all information is up to date and promoting the venue in the best light. Ensure all in-house sales and marketing materials are correct and presented to the highest standard following up with the relevant departments to rectify if not. Regularly monitor all feedback and online review sites. All good reviews must be responded to within a week. Poor reviews must be responded to as soon as possible following WSKB guidelines and forwarded to the management teams to investigate. People Assist the Operational Management and Training teams in leading, training, and motivating a diverse team of staff in building client relationships and driving revenue Training and Development Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff.
