Sellick Partnership is currently supporting an organisation to recruit for a Voids Manager on a temporary basis. The Voids Manager will successfully lead, direct and manage the in-house Voids team and/or associated contractors, providing a comprehensive void repairs service meeting legal, regulatory and Council policies and requirements.
The key responsibilities of the Voids Manager:
1. Providing leadership and management to the DLO Voids team, undertaking performance and development reviews, leading meetings and dealing with disciplinary matters as appropriate.
2. Holding responsibility for the DLO void budget.
3. Holding responsibility for all on-site health & safety matters.
4. Implementing and overseeing technical and specification meetings.
5. Exploring opportunities available for providing better value for money on all void operations.
The successful Voids Manager will have:
1. Experience of delivering a successful Voids Service in a social housing setting.
2. Professional qualification e.g. MCIOB, MRICS or FRICS (desirable).
