In this Hospitality Analyst role you will manage high-impact client-facing events across all Barclays businesses. This role is essential to maintaining the delivery of hospitality and ticketing services to the front office, including the activation of strategic Barclays sponsorships, key client engagement activities, colleague/citizenship ticket programs, and the deployment of new technology portals. Your ability to autonomously drive your work and lead large projects or campaigns will be crucial. You will provide end-to-end service, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
To be successful as a Hospitality Analyst, you should have experience with:
1. Events, ticketing and hospitality experience required. While experience in the Financial Services (FS) industry is beneficial, we are also open to candidates from other industries who can bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table.
2. Ability to drive your own work independently, demonstrating considerable self-management.
3. Proven ability to lead large projects or campaigns showcasing your capability to manage high-impact events from start to finish.
4. Expertise in providing end-to-end service, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of all aspects of sponsorship and hospitality management.

Purpose of the role
To plan, execute, manage and oversee a wide range of hospitality and sponsorship initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and external vendors to develop creative and impactful experiences.
Accountabilities
* Development, planning and strategic oversight of client appreciation events, external partnership events, sponsorship programmes, internal engagement events and client entertaining through hospitality & ticketing and other marketing initiatives.
* End-to-end management of all aspects of event logistics, including format proposal, venue and vendor selection and management, client experience development, talent management and onsite coordination as needed.
* Management of the hospitality programme, through Barclays-owned sponsorship assets, contracted memberships and ad-hoc brokering for clients and internal stakeholders, where applicable.
* Understanding of and adherence to all applicable internal controls throughout the planning process as well as identifying and mitigating potential areas of risk.
* Post-event or hospitality assessments to analyse the success of each initiative and identify areas for improvement.
* Expert advisor and partner to stakeholders and hosts to ensure event delivery meets their aims and objectives.
* Build and maintain industry relationships with suppliers and industry experts to stay at the forefront of hospitality and sponsorship trends, technology advances, new openings and best practices.
* Perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard, consistently driving continuous improvement.
* In-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertise.
* Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise.
* Lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements and coordinating team resources.
