Role Overview:
This is a generalist Junior HR Advisor role, supporting RLB's growing European regions. The role plays a key role in supporting our entities in Germany, Spain, Greece, and the Netherlands. The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of the People service and ensure a consistent approach between RLB UK and Europe through excellent customer service.
Role Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
* Maintain the regional employee relations tracker, ensuring information is up-to-date and closed when needed.
* Providing advice, guidance, and coaching on key employee relations topics in accordance with policy & procedures.
* Advising on and managing multiple European visa applications and tax processes.
* Working with third-party payroll suppliers to support employee payroll inquiries and supporting the process.
* Working closely with the European teams and office managers to provide guidance and support.
HR Procedures
* Maintaining a working knowledge of the HRIS, and work with the HR Analyst to ensure accuracy of data and reporting.
* Manage the maternity/paternity, medical disclosures, occupational health & long-term sick processes.
* Oversee absence management procedures are followed with consistency across regions.
* Conduct exit interviews, support the appraisal process and assist with contractual changes.
* Provide guidance to the HR Administrators on key processes and work with them to continuously look at ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
Commerciality
* Develop your commercial knowledge to support line managers to achieve their team and business goals.
* Coach line managers on how to manage people issues with a focus on commercial outcomes.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
* A HR professional with experience of HRIS.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Experience of working with a European team, with knowledge of European HR practices, desirable.
* Demonstrates employment law knowledge.
* Working effectively and takes ownership for work, works efficiently to meet deadlines, and uses initiative to solve problems.
