We are currently seeking a fully qualified and compassionate Nurture Teacher to join our dedicated team in Liverpool. This is a flexible, impactful role ideal for educators looking to support vulnerable learners outside of traditional classroom settings. Job Description: As a Nurture Teacher, you will work with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups in a variety of settings, such as local libraries or students' homes. You will have the flexibility to plan your own hours within the school day while delivering targeted support that addresses both emotional and academic needs. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons for students with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs. Create a safe, supportive learning environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic development. Work collaboratively with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure student progress. Monitor and track student development, adjusting teaching strategies as required. Encourage positive behaviour and develop students’ confidence and independence. Essential Requirements: PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications without QTS cannot be considered. Experience supporting students with SEMH, SEND, or EBSA needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work flexibly and independently across a range of learning environments. Commitment to nurturing the emotional, social, and academic growth of each learner. Desirable: Full UK driving licence – travel may be required between student homes or teaching locations.
